PVAStrumento

Create allows you to convert videos and movies that you've recorded in PVA format for digital television, in MPEG format and burn to a DVD. So you can build you a digital video library.

If you've recorded movies with your computer in PVA format, that you have received via cable or satellite, PVAStrumento may be useful to you. The new freeware program can convert the PVA files in MPEG format, and allows you to burn the results onto a video DVD. Create compatible me, XP, Vista and 7 with the operating systems Windows 98, 2000, and requires only about 800 KByte disk space. The program is especially useful if you want to archive DVB streams, E.g. in the context of a DVD library. Burning to a DVD requires that the files recorded by the DVB card must be converted to MPEG2 in the correct format. Be thus converted the header information of the original transport streams into a format suitable for burning. Overall, PVAStrumento is useful for you if you want to set up a digital video library.

Create is a free, publicly available freeware and can therefore freely used and distributed. In addition to the main function, files that were recorded in PVA format MPEG2 format suitable for burning to DVD to convert, MPEG2 streams for further processing allows to prepare and repair if necessary. Basically, the MPEG2 format serves to compensate for errors and loss of information transfers in the context of digital television. A DVB receiver card must always reckon with information losses and compensate for transmission errors. The MPEG2 format creates the conditions to compensate for error. Therefore be used to convert the data recorded by the DVB receiver from the transport stream to program stream format and to create the technical conditions to be able to play the image data on a DVD player.
